I Still Live
Gesh, November 6 and no new posts? What's up with that? Rest assured, I've been living the "good life" (just like Martha is) and keeping myself busy.
craigslist.org moved into my hometown. That's a biggie. We're just a pimple on a gnat's ass compaired to the loverly San Francisco, but we're here -- and it's too far to drive to Austin (or SF)! Craigslist is such a liberal stronghold -- I think SA needs to take control of our corner of it and sell our crap to them.
I was supposed to go to the Airshow at Lackland today, but I just don't feel up to it. So BLAH!
Yesterday, my mom sold my old pickup to gypsies. It's been sitting in her driveway for a couple of years, after everyone in the family, at some point, used it for their primary transportation since 1983. Finally! It's gone and maybe they can make use of it.
My friend wanted to make soup out of nothing but brocolli. Here's the recipe I found for her. Gross. I guess in England they'll do anything with a potato and an onion. By the way, Shoyu is a dark brown fermented liquid made from soybeans. It appears that soy sauce could substitute. I'd add a bit of wine, to account for the fermentation thing, you know. IK.
OK, that's all I've got for now. But at least you got another entry into this blog so you know -- I Still Live. heh.
