419 Eater

So yesterday, I used up the better part of a perfectly good day reading this site. but it's hilarious. 4-1-9 is the statute number of the Nigerian fraud scam. You know, the email you periodically get from idiots who want to transfer millions in funds using various "modalities" and bad spelling? There is, apparently, a whole gang of people who take these idots to task and scam-bait them. Their goal is to get them to do stupid things and submit photos to them ("trophies") holding up signs with what they think are code words.

It turns out that the scammer is usually more gullible than the person he's attempting to scam, and it's usually *really* funny. Be sure to check out the trophie room, the forums, and some of the other links this guy's got on the site... that is, if you want to waste a better part of a perfectly good day laughing your ass off! (thanks, Gareth!).
